The Trump administration’s approach to Greenland is proving unpopular among U.S. adults, according to a new AP-NORC poll. Twenty-four percent of adults approve of how President Trump is handling Greenland, while 72% disapprove. While Democrats and independents view Trump’s handling of Greenland similarly to his handling of other issues, Republicans diverge. About half disapprove of his approach to Greenland, representing a significant departure from other issues, where Republican disapproval of Trump’s handling hovers around a quarter—whether on the economy, foreign policy, or immigration.
