About a third of the public approve of Trump’s dealing with the economy, Iran, and foreign policy. Forty-five percent approve of his handling of immigration.

Only a quarter believe that the U.S. is a great place for immigrants

Sixty-five percent support granting citizenship to all children born in the United States. Fewer, 49%, support granting citizenship to children born to parents who are in the U.S. illegally.

Fewer approve of Trump’s handling of the economy

About 7 in 10 Americans describe the national economy as poor and think the country is headed in the wrong direction.
